The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking an Assistant Program Manager at our Community Transitional Living Program (CTLP) in Hartford, CT. Our residential staff establish life-changing relationships with our participants and provide opportunities to optimize their independence, rehabilitation, and recovery.

CTLP is dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive environment for individuals with persistent psychiatric conditions, enabling them to live safely and successfully within the community. The program is specifically designed to support clients who have experienced longstanding challenges with community living and have a history of repeated psychiatric hospitalizations.

ASSISTANT PROGRAM MANAGER ROLE:
The Assistant Program Manager assists the Program Manager in the day-to-day scheduling and management of the team, as well as assorted administrative functions. The position also serves as a highly effective direct care staff. The assistant manager is expected to model behavior for the direct care staff and promote house culture. The Assistant Manager is an individual who has demonstrated a high degree of responsibility and ability to manage details. The position can be used as a first step for direct care staff to demonstrate management abilities.
 
REQUIRMENTS:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • At least 2 year experience working with psychiatric disorders or co-occurring population
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Valid license and a registered, and insured vehicle
  • Approved criminal background and driving check

SCHEDULE:
2nd shift, 2:00pm - 10:00pm. Days on: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Days off: Friday, Saturday.
 
Take advantage of a competitive salary of $47,000/year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including 403B.
