Assistant Program Manager - Hartford
About this role
The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking an Assistant Program Manager at our Community Transitional Living Program (CTLP) in Hartford, CT. Our residential staff establish life-changing relationships with our participants and provide opportunities to optimize their independence, rehabilitation, and recovery.
CTLP is dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive environment for individuals with persistent psychiatric conditions, enabling them to live safely and successfully within the community. The program is specifically designed to support clients who have experienced longstanding challenges with community living and have a history of repeated psychiatric hospitalizations.
- High School diploma or GED required
- At least 2 year experience working with psychiatric disorders or co-occurring population
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills

Valid license and a registered, and insured vehicle

Approved criminal background and driving check

- Demonstrates patience, caring and compassion
