Work Schedule: 5-Section Rotating Shift Schedule, with 8-hour shifts during the week and 12-hour shifts on weekends

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

The University of Oklahoma is seeking a motivated team member to help support the operation of our steam and chilled water plant systems that keep campus running year-round.

In this hands-on role, you will:

  • Assist with operating boilers, chillers, and cooling towers
  • Monitor and inspect equipment for safe and efficient performance
  • Conduct water testing and document operational data
  • Learn preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques
  • Read gauges, meters, and technical drawings

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED

Required Certifications and Licenses:

  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date
