Position Introduction:

Looking to gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations while building valuable professional skills as a pharmacy student? The College of Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented Student Assistant to support the review of prescription medication authorization petitions and assist with evaluating clinical guidelines for prior authorization criteria. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your analytical skills, work alongside experienced pharmacy professionals, and make a meaningful contribution in a collaborative healthcare environment.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:

  • Reviews/approves petitions for prescription medication authorization
  • Reviews clinical guidelines for prescription medication criteria for prior authorization.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or as required to successfully fulfill function of the position.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as a graduate or professional student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current graduate or professional student status.
  • Must be a student in the College of Pharmacy
