Pay Range: Targeted salary $11.55 - 12.00 per hour, based on experience

Work Schedule:Wednesday – Sunday, evenings (5:00pm -  up to 11:00pm), 25-35 hours per week

Position Introduction:

  • Open the Forum building and rooms for events, including setting up chairs and tables.
  • Checking room setups and client needs before and during events.
  • Make beverages and put out supplies and catering items.
  • Clean and restock serving supplies.
  • Provide customer service to clients, including troubleshooting AV equipment issues, completing any last-minute client requests.
  • Tech support for audio visual equipment as needed by clients.
  • Cleaning, sweeping, mopping back room and spills, and taking out trash/boxes after events.
  • Monitoring safety and maintenance needs within the building.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

None

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions
  • Customer Service
  • Ability to safely and accurately use assorted chemicals and cleaning appliances

Required Certifications and Licenses:

  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date
  • Food handler’s permit must be acquired within 5 days of employment.
