Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Position Introduction: Student office worker will assist the department faculty and staff as needed. Duties may include covering the main office front desk area, event planning, making copies, organizing the office, running campus errands, watering plants, emptying trash and recycling, updating bulletin boards, helping with social media, attending events (when possible), and other tasks upon request. |

Required Education and Experience: Must be currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status. Must attach Fall 2026 class schedule Required Attachments:

The Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) at the University of Oklahoma (OU) offers in-person English language courses for international students on the Norman campus of the University of Oklahoma, and off-site courses for businesses providing English-language courses for their employees.
Our location on campus provides students with access to all University of Oklahoma resources including housing, dining, transportation, libraries, medical facilities, and more.
We provide the following English language services:
- Intensive English Program: Full time, 20 hours per week including:
-grammar
-reading
-writing
-listening
-speaking
-seminars - U.S. history/government, presentation skills, public speaking, test preparation
- Test prep: IELTS, TOEFL iBT
- Community English: Part-time courses for students already living in our community
-General English, including grammar, speaking, listening, reading, writing
- Individualized programs designed for partner universities or businesses
