About the Role
We are seeking experienced Construction Team Leaders to join our expanding operations team in County Roscommon during an exciting time of rapid growth. As a Team Leader, you will lead a team of two primarily at homeowner's properties around the Republic of Ireland. You'll lead site works, including building, remediation, reinstatement and OFTEC works, supervising team members on site to deliver projects in a timely manner while ensuring all works meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise Labourers on site, ensuring their health and safety is maintained at all times
  • Carry out works under the direction of the Contracts Manager and/or Operations Manager
  • Run projects according to previously agreed schedules and budgets
  • Utilise your own initiative, skills and knowledge where appropriate
  • Drive machinery and undertake hand dig excavation works to facilitate contamination removal
  • Coordinate ordering of materials and skips to site to maintain schedule of works
  • Assist with collecting photographs throughout all stages of works for comprehensive documentation
  • Carry out works in accordance with health and safety regulations, including relevant RAMS documentation
  • Follow structural engineer's drawings/plans to carry out propping works safely, including brickwork and blockwork
  • Ensure sites are kept tidy, clean and safe throughout all project phases



Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role running construction projects on site with appreciation for health and safety
  • Full EU driving licence
  • Good general building knowledge with a willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of project budgets and timelines
  • Ability to undertake a variety of physically demanding tasks
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Positive attitude with a motivated approach and able to use own initiative
  • Basic Irish Garda Clearance check
  • Right to work in the Republic of Ireland
  • Willingness to work away from home when necessary
Desirable:
  • 5-6 years of construction experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Digger licences
  • OFTEC qualifications or experience
  • Previous experience in oil spill remediation or environmental restoration
  • Knowledge of structural propping works
  • CSCS/CSR Card


Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of €40,000 - €45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) and provide a comprehensive range of benefits including:
  • Permanent contract working 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday on site
  • Overtime paid at an enhanced rate where applicable
  • Holiday entitlement increasing with service (20 days rising to 25 days plus bank holidays)
