Summary

The Network Infrastructure Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day network operations, project execution, service availability, and technical teams within assigned buildings or business areas. The role ensures stable, secure, and scalable network infrastructure while aligning local operational requirements with Global standards

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Lead team assign daily workload and priorities.
  • Conduct performance reviews and coaching.
  • Develop technical capability and succession plans.
  • Plan resources, on-call schedules and knowledge sharing.
  • LAN, WLAN, WAN, Internet, SD-WAN, firewall, NAC and monitoring.
  • Drive SLA, availability, MTTR and incident reduction.
  • Lead deployments, network migrations, Wi-Fi expansion, firewall implementations and OT connectivity projects.
  • Manage planning, risks, vendors, testing and acceptance.
  • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Facilities, OT, Global Network Team and vendors.
  • Manage requirements, communications and change coordination.
  • SOP development, monitoring improvements, capacity planning and RCA

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Typical Experience

  • 15 years in Enterprise Networking
  • 5 years leading infrastructure teams
  • Manufacturing or large campus experience
  • Multi-building & 24x7 operations
  • Infrastructure project delivery experience

Typical Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
