Join the Creative - Northwood University Culinary Team as a Full-Time Back-of-House Cook!
Location: Northwood University 4000 Whiting Drive, Midland 48640
Pay: $16.50-$18.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Weekends as needed)
*Schedule includes seasonal scheduling - College semesters; August – December; January – May

Creative Dining Services on site at Northwood University is looking for a passionate, energetic Cook to help fuel our vibrant campus community! If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in your craft, and enjoy making a difference in people’s daily lives—this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare delicious food items by following established recipes and menus, ensuring each dish shines in freshness, quality, and visual appeal.
- Utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under production
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment at all times.
- If work shift requires, properly open and/or close the kitchen – unlocking/locking doors & secured areas, and turning on/turning off of all equipment essential to the operation
- Support other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and campus partners
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of culinary experience
- ServSafe Certification Preferred
