The Caturus platform was founded by Kimmeridge, an alternative asset manager focused on the energy sector, with subsequent additional investment by Mubadala Energy. Caturus is building an independent, fully integrated natural gas and LNG export platform in the U.S. through a combination of its upstream operations and Commonwealth LNG, a 9.5 Mtpa LNG export terminal in southwestern Louisiana. Together, they will provide low-cost energy on demand with the lowest carbon footprint.


Job Description

Position Summary:
The Caturus platform was founded by Kimmeridge, an alternative asset manager focused on the energy sector, with subsequent additional investment by Mubadala Energy. Caturus is building an independent, fully integrated natural gas and LNG export platform in the U.S. through a combination of its upstream operations and Commonwealth LNG, a 9.5 Mtpa LNG export terminal in southwestern Louisiana. Together, they will provide low-cost energy on demand with the lowest carbon footprint.

Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President, Ready for Operations (RFO) is accountable for enterprise-wide operational readiness across both upstream and LNG assets. This role provides strategic leadership across various business units to ensure consistency across the entirety of the organization.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Design and execute comprehensive integration plans that align with organizational goals, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Develop an integration strategy aligned with the company’s long-term business objectives, growth targets, and market needs.
  • Work closely with IT, operations, engineering, marketing, field teams, and leadership teams to ensure integration initiatives support overall business objectives.
  • Identify integration risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for integrated operations, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Establish success metrics, monitor integration progress, and evaluate impact on operational efficiency.
  • Support development of the long-term operational strategy across the integrated platform, optimizing reliability, efficiency, production throughput, and regulatory compliance beyond startup.
  • Drive ongoing integration efforts to adapt to rapid technological change, global disruptions, and evolving market demands.
Qualifications:
Education, Certificates, and Licenses:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced certifications in project management, process safety, or operations management preferred.
Experience:
  • 15+ years in senior leadership roles, with experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, mergers & acquisitions, or large-scale operational integration within the oil and gas industry.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to align EPC, operations, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of business strategy, operational processes, and digital technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety, asset integrity, and maintenance management systems.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing operational procedures and readiness metrics.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on results, safety, and long-term operational reliability.
