Sterilization Technician
About this role
The Sterilization Technician’s primary responsibility is to maintain and manage the workroom. Performing sterilization duties as a member of the practice team. Cleans, packages, sterilizes, and stores supplies, instruments, and equipment. Assists with patient care needed and directed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports the Philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Practice.
- Supports and performs according to approved policies and procedures
- Observes safety measures in performance of job duties and responsibilities
- Responds to emergency situations with competence and composure.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Education or Equivalent
- CPR Certification
- Dental Assisting School (preferred)
