About this role
- Support the HSE Manager in managing workplace safety, health, security and environmental compliance for the plant
- Support the implementation of industrial hygiene (IH) and occupational health (OH) programs in compliance with applicable local regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a member of the HSE Committee and coordinate/schedule site inspections.
- Support and participate in plant HSE activities including training, safety risk assessments, PHA, MOC, perform PSSR inspections, and correction of hazards and unsafe behaviors
- Participate in thorough HSE incident and accident investigations, ensuring timely follow-up and corrective actions by responsible personnel.
- Prepare and maintain HSE data, reports and dashboards for monthly, quarterly and yearly submissions
- Conduct Safety Induction Training and other WSH-related in-house training for (new) employees and contractors.
- Review, developed and implement Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures when required.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance for ALL Safety related audits, and statutory requirements, on sites.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions taken by relevant parties to address non-conformities.
- Ensure all health and safety policies/WSQ Operational Control procedures are followed strictly by the project staff and workforces/sub-contractors
- (Process) Safety Improvement: Analyze and propose tech-driven solutions, review SOPs/MOC designs with owners, and integrate LOTO/safe shutdown procedures.
- Support in preparedness drills, coordinate with admin/security, liaise with authorities, verify emergency equipment, and assist in ERP revisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of HSE.
- Min Diploma in Health, Safety and Environmental or related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience.
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.
- Experience with MHI implementation and assessment (preferably, not necessary).
- Preferably certified as Confined Space Assessor and Work-at-Height Manager.
- Strong grasp of Singapore legal HSE requirements.
- Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional departments.
- Ability to lead HSE training, risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Ability to analyze incident and monitoring data trends to inform safety improvements.

- Develop Risk Management Implementation Plans.
