CarePoint Response, Inc. (CPR) is Baltimore's comprehensive behavioral health crisis response system. Since 1992, we have provided compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health services to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.

Through crisis intervention, mobile response, withdrawal management, crisis stabilization, residential services, and community-based care, we help individuals and families find hope during life's most challenging moments.
Program Overview
CarePoint Response's Mobile Response Team (MRT) delivers immediate, community-based behavioral health crisis intervention throughout Baltimore City and surrounding communities. Working in partnership with hospitals, law enforcement, emergency departments, community providers, and behavioral health agencies, the MRT provides rapid assessment, de-escalation, stabilization, and linkage to ongoing care.
The Mobile Response Team Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the delivery of timely, high-quality crisis services while supporting staff, strengthening community partnerships, and promoting excellence in clinical care.
The Opportunity
CarePoint Response is seeking an experienced behavioral health leader to serve as our Mobile Response Team Supervisor. In this role, you will provide clinical and administrative supervision to the Mobile Response Team while partnering with the Mobile Response Team Director to oversee daily operations, coordinate crisis response services, and ensure exceptional care for individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies.
You will mentor clinicians, provide clinical consultation, coordinate staffing, support hospital diversion efforts, and respond to complex crisis situations when needed. This position offers an opportunity to lead a highly skilled interdisciplinary team while helping shape one of Maryland's premier mobile crisis response programs.

What You'll Do
Leadership & Team Supervision
Provide clinical and administrative supervision to Mobile Response Team clinicians and interns.
Assist with staff recruitment, orientation, training, coaching, and ongoing professional development.
Coordinate staff scheduling, daily assignments, and coverage for call-outs.
Participate in the on-call rotation and provide leadership during critical incidents.
Clinical Operations
Support daily mobile crisis operations and assist with high-acuity community responses.
Triage crisis referrals and collaborate with the Call Center to coordinate timely interventions.
Provide clinical support to residential crisis stabilization and withdrawal management programs as needed.
Complete behavioral health assessments and assist with medication management referrals when appropriate.
Community Partnerships
Serve as a liaison with hospitals, emergency departments, law enforcement, outpatient providers, and community agencies.
Support hospital diversion initiatives and strengthen referral relationships.
Promote collaboration across the behavioral health continuum to improve access to crisis services.
Quality, Compliance & Performance Improvement
Monitor clinical documentation, authorizations, and service delivery for quality and regulatory compliance.
Assist with state reporting, data collection, and performance monitoring.
Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to accreditation and licensing standards.
Provide regular coaching, chart reviews, and performance feedback to staff.
QualificationsQualifications
Education
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required.
Licensure
Current Maryland LCSW-C or LCPC license required.
Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing behavioral health crisis services.
Previous experience working with individuals experiencing acute behavioral health crises required.
At least one (1) year of supervisory or management experience in a community behavioral health setting preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong crisis assessment and intervention skills.
Knowledge of behavioral health systems, hospital diversion, and community resources.
Experience supervising and mentoring clinical staff.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation.
Commitment to trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and person-centered care.
