About this role

Do you have experience leading and developing a Sales Operations, Back Office or related function? Are you motivated by improving processes, driving digitalisation and creating the best possible conditions for employees, sales teams and customers?

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Head of Sales Operations to lead and further develop the sales organisation’s Back Office function. You will hold a central position within an international organisation characterised by high ambitions, a strong focus on transformation and a clear desire to remain at the forefront of its industry.

About the role

As Head of Sales Operations, you will have overall responsibility for leading and future-proofing a Back Office organisation consisting of approximately ten employees. Your mission will be to establish effective structures that enhance the customer experience while providing the sales organisation with the right conditions to succeed.

This is a permanent position. You will report to the Sales Director, be a member of the Sales Management Team and work in a hybrid arrangement from home and the company’s office.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the processes from quotation to invoicing, including order management, delivery and logistics

  • Ensuring high quality and delivery accuracy throughout the entire sales process

  • Developing collaboration between Sales, Key Account Management and Administration

  • Driving digitalisation, automation and continuous process improvement

  • Developing the use of CRM and ERP systems, as well as the working methods surrounding them

  • Monitoring performance through relevant objectives and KPIs

The company is currently undergoing an exciting phase of development in which several processes and working methods are being modernised. An important part of your role will be to lead the next stage of the organisation’s digital transformation and reduce its reliance on manual processes.

You will therefore play a key role in building a strong team with clear objectives, shared working methods and close collaboration across national borders.

You will map existing workflows, identify opportunities for improvement and translate them into practical and sustainable solutions. This may involve everything from system use and the allocation of responsibilities to collaboration models, performance monitoring and customer communication.

To succeed in the role, you will need to combine structure and strong execution skills with a present and inclusive leadership style. You create an understanding of the need for change, involve employees in the process and ensure that new ways of working are successfully implemented in day-to-day operations.

What we offer

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine difference. You will have the chance to create smarter ways of working, develop employees and build a modern Sales Operations function that makes a clear contribution to both internal and external customer satisfaction.

You will be offered:

  • Significant responsibility and freedom to develop the function

  • A central position within the Sales Management Team

  • The opportunity to drive digitalisation and automation from idea to implementation

  • Close collaboration with committed colleagues in an international group

  • Access to expertise, experience and development initiatives from across the wider organisation

  • A stable employer with long-term ambitions and a clear commitment to continuous development

Who are you?

You are an experienced, courageous and curious leader who thrives in a commercially driven and changing environment. You take a holistic view, understand how different parts of an organisation are connected and can translate analysis and insights into tangible improvements.

As a leader, you are present, clear and inclusive. You build trust, give employees the right level of responsibility and create a culture in which people collaborate, take ownership and develop. At the same time, you are comfortable making decisions, setting priorities and monitoring performance against clearly defined objectives.

Your leadership skills, energy and ability to engage others will be important factors in the selection process.

We would ideally like you to have:

  • A relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Several years of experience leading and developing teams

  • Experience within Sales Operations, Back Office, order administration or a similar function

  • Experience in change management, process development and digitalisation

  • A strong understanding of sales, customer journeys and commercial processes

  • Experience working with CRM and ERP systems

  • Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English

Experience from an international B2B organisation with complex sales, order, delivery or service processes would be an advantage.
