We are looking for an experienced NPI Engineer to join our China Operations team and lead new product introductions across our manufacturing partners in China and Southeast Asia. This role serves as a key bridge between our headquarters and factory teams, ensuring smooth transitions from product development to mass production while maintaining timelines, quality, and operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full NPI lifecycle from prototype builds through mass production.
- Coordinate build readiness reviews and support trial builds on-site.
- Drive issue resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions during production ramp-up.
- Act as the primary interface between R&D, Product Management, Project Management, Supply Chain, and manufacturing partners.
- Manage engineering changes (ECN/ECR) and ensure proper implementation at factory level.
- Monitor project risks, timelines, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
- Prepare build reports, documentation, and status updates for stakeholders.
- Support onboarding and development of manufacturing partners.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the NPI process.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of NPI, manufacturing engineering, or project management experience in consumer electronics.
- Hands-on experience with new product introductions and production ramp-up processes.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and engineering change management.
- Experience working with EMS/ODM partners.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English and Mandarin.
