Job Details
Lead and manage grading crews to maintain safe, efficient, and productive job site operations.
Construct projects according to plans, specifications, and project requirements.
Ensure all grading work is completed accurately and in accordance with quality standards.
Complete and maintain necessary crew documentation including equipment check sheets, daily work reports, timecards, and toolbox talks.
Monitor and enforce compliance with all local, state, and NCDOT regulations.
Coordinate with the Superintendent regarding project needs including inspections, geotechnical requirements, and subcontractor scheduling.
Ensure proper use, care, and safety of equipment and tools on the job site.
Communicate daily production goals and expectations with crew members.
Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company safety policies.
Qualifications
Experience leading grading or heavy civil construction crews.
Strong knowledge of grading operations, equipment, and job site safety.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Understanding of NCDOT and local construction regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to complete field documentation and manage daily crew activities.
