Job DetailsResponsibilities

Hauling & Dumping: Transport construction materials to and from job sites, quarries, or dumps, and operate the truck's hydraulic mechanisms to unload materials safely.
Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify that tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels are compliant and safe.
Safety & Compliance: Abide by all Federal and State Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and OSHA rules.
Load Management: Ensure materials are loaded evenly, secured properly with tarps when required, and kept under legal weight limits.
Logistics & Record Keeping: Complete and maintain accurate driver logs, delivery tickets, and fuel receipts.
Site Coordination: Communicate directly with dispatchers, project managers, and flaggers to navigate traffic and safely maneuver around active, congested job sites.

Qualifications

License: Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Medical: Clean driving record and a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (must pass a DOT physical).
Experience: 1 to 3 years of commercial driving experience, with specific preference for operating dump trucks or trailers in construction settings.
Physical Demands: Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions, along with the ability to bend, climb in and out of the cab, and occasionally assist ground crews.
