Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and driven Senior Executive, Finance to support the Finance team in ensuring accurate financial accounting, reporting, and operational finance activities. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting transactions, month-end closing activities, financial reporting, banking and audit requirements.
The ideal candidate possesses strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting and Reporting
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities in a timely manner.
Process and record business transactions in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Manage accounting entries relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables, cash, accruals, prepayments, and financing activities.
Reconcile customer, supplier, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and audit schedules.
Support annual audit exercises and statutory reporting requirements
Accounts Management & Transaction Processing
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including billing and payment processing.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions within the accounting system.
Assign appropriate accounting codes and classifications to transactions.
Compile and prepare documentation required for banking transactions and related processes.
Systems, Analysis & Reporting
Utilize accounting and financial systems effectively for transaction processing and data analysis.
Generate and retrieve financial reports for management review and decision-making.
Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements, forecasts, and business activity reports.
Participate in finance-related projects, system implementations, enhancements, and user acceptance testing when required.
Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
Good understanding of financial accounting principles and accounting standards.
Experience in month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP ERP systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within deadlines.
