Overview
Our client, a leading global financial services organization, is seeking an experienced AI Lead Architect to define and lead the technical architecture for AI-powered Copilot agent solutions. This role will be responsible for establishing scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade architectures across a growing portfolio of AI initiatives.
Operating primarily in an architecture capacity with selective hands-on involvement, the successful candidate will design end-to-end solutions spanning Copilot Studio, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), enterprise integrations, governance, security, and AI best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own end-to-end architecture for Microsoft Copilot Studio solutions.
- Design RAG architectures leveraging SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, and custom connectors.
- Establish prompt engineering standards, reusable prompts, guardrails, and best practices.
- Architect governance, security, identity, and access control frameworks.
- Provide architectural oversight for Power Automate workflows and orchestration patterns.
- Design integration strategies across enterprise platforms and business systems.
- Review and approve technical designs produced by development teams.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture and security stakeholders to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Create and maintain architecture decision records (ADRs), technical design documents, and reference architectures.
- Provide hands-on design guidance for complex or high-impact AI implementations.
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Copilot Studio architecture, deployment models, and platform capabilities.
- Strong experience designing enterprise-scale RAG solutions.
- Power Automate architecture and advanced workflow design experience.
- Experience establishing prompt engineering standards and reusable prompt architectures.
- Strong understanding of Entra ID, governance frameworks, security controls, and enterprise access models.
- Experience designing enterprise integrations, APIs, connectors, and application architectures.
- 5+ years of solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or AI architecture leadership experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
- Microsoft certifications in Azure AI, Power Platform, or Copilot technologies.
- TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certifications.
- Experience producing architecture artifacts and governance documentation within regulated environments.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $140,000 - $165,000/ yearly
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
