Business Applications Lead Service
About this role
As Business Applications Lead, you take the lead in shaping IT solutions within our enterprise service landscape, with a strong focus on the ServiceNow platform.
This is not a traditional project management or people management role. As the subject matter expert, you combine a strong understanding of service processes with in depth IT expertise. You work at the intersection of business requirements, solution architecture and functional design, leading solution design and technical decision making.
You translate complex business and service process requirements into clear solution requirements and functional designs covering processes, data, integrations and technology. You challenge both requirements and proposed solutions, assessing whether they address the actual business need and fit within the platform and wider IT architecture.
Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers and other IT specialists, you provide technical and functional direction throughout solution design and delivery. You identify dependencies, integration requirements and potential technical risks, while ensuring that solutions are scalable and maintainable.
Your impact goes beyond individual changes or projects. You help shape how our ServiceNow landscape evolves, making decisions with reusability, data flows, integrations and long term maintainability in mind. You look for opportunities to reduce complexity, improve existing solutions and make smarter use of the platform.
