🌍 GVA is a subsidiary of CANAL+ Group and a telecom operator acting in the provision of very high-speed internet access. It builds, operates and markets its own fibre-to-the-home network under the CANALBOX brand. GVA launched its activities in 2017, and has since been operating in 10 countries (Gabon, Togo, Congo, Ivory Coast, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda) and 15 cities (Libreville, Port-Gentil, Lomé, Pointe-Noire, Brazzaville, Abidjan, Kigali, Rubavu, Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso, Kinshasa, Goma, Kampala, Cotonou, Ibadan).
As part of its expansion in Nigeria, with operations already launched in Ibadan and incoming activity in Lagos, GVA is looking for a Communications Manager
The Communications Manager collaborates with the management to define marketing objectives and develop comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
Tasks
Developing Marketing Strategy : Collaborate management to define marketing objectives and develop comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
Campaign Management : Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention, and constantly monitor the visibility of the company's brand.
Content Creation : Oversee the creation of engaging content with the group and local agencies, for various platforms, including website, social media, email, and print materials.
Digital Marketing : Manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, PPC advertising, email marketing, and social media marketing.
Market Research : Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
Public Relations : Develop and implement public relations strategies to maintain positive media relations and enhance brand visibility. Handle media inquiries and press releases.
Event Management : Plan and execute marketing events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
Budget & Procurement Management : Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and ROI tracking. Develop call for tenders in compliance with the regulations in force and analyse the offers of a service provider on various indicators.

Required profile
Education and Experience
- Degree in business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (03) years' experience in this position or in a similar position,
- Proven ability to significantly drive engagement and conversion.
- Creative and able to identify new growth channels and innovate with smart hacks.
