Salary: Our salaries generally range from $ 62393.27 to $ 77991.59 and are based on qualifications and experience.

About the role

Join the Survey Data Processing team, in the  Analyst, Business Systems and Statistics position. As part of this role, you will provide support for the development, the implementation  and follow up of  business processes and systems  through analysis, modelling programming and data manipulation.

 

This is a temporary position of a duration of 12 months.

 

What you'll do:

 

  • Provides analytical support for the creation of reports and quality control checks.
  • Performs data output and statistical analysis.
  • Performs data quality verification activities to ensure system outputs.
  • Provides expertise on statistical reporting tools and applications.
  • Performs a review of access to business systems on a regular basis.
  • Administers and maintains access to all business systems on a regular basis.
  • Responds to data requests from clients.

 

What you should have:

 

  • A post-secondary education preferably in Mathematics, statistics or  computer science; A bachelor degree will be an additional asset.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in statistical analysis.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in programming languages for data manipulation and analysis such as R or Python or SAS.  
  • Good oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills (tact, judgment and diplomacy).
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis skills.
