About this role
CAMH is seeking an accomplished and visionary leader to serve as full-time, permanent Director, Industry Partnerships and Technology Transfer (IPTTO). Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Research & Science, the Director will lead the strategic evolution of CAMH's research commercialization and innovation agenda. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape how groundbreaking mental health discoveries move beyond the laboratory to create meaningful impact for patients, the health system and society.
The Director provides leadership for CAMH's Industry Partnerships and Technology Transfer Office, developing and implementing the research institute’s commercialization strategy while cultivating a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship and strategic partnership across the research enterprise. Working closely with scientists, executive leadership, legal counsel, research finance, government agencies, investors and global industry partners, the Director will position CAMH as a leader in translating research discoveries into real-world solutions through licensing, venture creation, strategic collaborations and commercialization.

Through its core values of Courage, Respect and Excellence, CAMH is implementing its Strategic Plan: Connected CAMH, to transform lives, ignite innovation and discovery, revolutionize education and drive social change. CAMH is more than a hospital, it is a cause. CAMH is on a mission to change the way society thinks about and responds to mental illness. They aim to eliminate prejudice and discrimination and shape a world where mental illness is central to our healthcare system – a world where Mental Health is Health.
