About the role:

The Customer Project Specialist - Commercial Vehicle, supports the successful coordination and delivery of customer projects following order placement. Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams, the role ensures projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Working location: Fully Office-based, Hounslow, London

Main Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate customer projects from order placement through to successful delivery.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, business reports and records in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain project dashboards, reports and documentation, including meeting agendas, minutes and follow-up actions.

  • Monitor project progress, workstreams and key milestones, identifying risks and escalating issues where appropriate.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure project activities are completed in line with agreed timelines and business objectives.

  • Collect, analyse and report project data, KPIs and milestone updates to support project delivery.

  • Maintain accurate project information within internal systems and ensure records are kept up to date.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the business.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in project coordination, project delivery, customer service or a similar role.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.

  • High attention to detail with strong administrative and reporting skills.

  • Ability to analyse information and prepare accurate reports.

  • Customer-focused with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

  • Experience within the automotive, commercial vehicle, engineering or manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
