At Alisios, every detail contributes to the guest's journey, and your role helps create a space that feels welcoming, cared for, and connected.
A BUSSER, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, organized dining environment and supporting the flow of service. Your attention to detail and sense of urgency helps ensure a smooth experience for both guest and team, contributing to a positive and memorable visit for everyone who walks through the doors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clear, clean and reset tables efficiently to maintain a smooth flow or service
- Assist servers by refilling water, bringing extra utensils, and delivering food when needed
- Help with setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after shifts
- Support kitchen and waitstaff by running food and assisting in other tasks as needed
- Work as part of a team to provide an outstanding guest experience
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guest and team members
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe restaurant environment
- Transport full bus bins to dishwasher regularly
- Routinely sweep and mop floors, wipe windows and mirrors and take out the trash, recycling and compost when full
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Working knowledge of spirits, wine and food
- Awareness of basic safety sanitation policies
- Ability to acquire a Food Handlers license, Sexual Harassment certification and RBS (Alcohol) certification (before or within 2 weeks of hire date)
