Job Overview

We are representing a confidential organisation seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join their team on a Part-Time basis. This position is based in Louisiana, United States. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality products and play a key role in all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable software applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver new features.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
Participate in code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and team methodologies.

Qualifications

Proven professional experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar development role.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript).
Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
