JOB PURPOSE

The Warehouse Coordinator reporting to the Logistic Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end management of finished goods, from production completion through storage, handling and movement. The role ensures accurate stock control, efficient inbound and outbound flows, and strong coordination with the external logistic provider for finished goods. The role also oversees production returns, consumables procurement, service‑level monitoring, and resolution of logistical anomalies. The position collaborates closely with Production and Transport departments and external partner to guarantee smooth operational execution and service excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate daily operations with the external warehouse provider handling finished goods.
  • Maintain and update reporting and KPIs related to the external logistics provider (for FG) performance.
  • Verify monthly provider invoicing and apply penalties for SLA non‑compliance, as per the agreed contract.
  • Provide operational and system support and solve day‑to‑day issues.
  • Plan inbound flows of finished goods returning from production, ensuring alignment with the Transport Coordinator for proper yard management.
  • Monitor and manage of finished goods consignment stock (conto visione), including monthly stock analysis and the coordination of item recalls in line with business requirements.
  • Drive cycle counts and annual inventories to validate stock accuracy.
  • Oversee and manage after‑sale returns from the Burberry HUB and retail returns.
  • Manage purchase orders for materials needed for warehouse operations.
  • Handle shipment anomalies and resolve Non-Conformity Reports from Burberry Limited.
  • Coordinate with the Sourcing Office to verify urgencies and shipping priorities.
  • Support discrepancies resolution for BM and vendor invoices when they arise.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Strong ability to assess, prioritise and manage operational workload.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Experience in logistics, warehouse coordination or supply chain operations.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and analytical mindset.
  • Good knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (Stealth 3000 and Logimoda preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English (B2 Level) is mandatory.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong cross‑functional relationships.
  • Capacity to maintain a global view of logistics flows and operational impacts.
