Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Office - Kings Mountain, NC 28086Position Type: Full TimeWe are searching for a Machine Operator for our Automated Weld Lines to join our growing team!
Full-time employees are eligible for a weekly attendance bonus! Eligible employees can receive an additional $1 per hour, for every hour worked, in addition to their hourly wages for working their scheduled shift.
Responsibilities
Utilizes Human Machine Interface (HMI) to operate equipment and make adjustments as needed
Ensures quality of product by measuring equipment to ensure proper product specifications are met
Responsible for visual inspection of welds and cosmetic appearance of product
Utilizes hand tools to make minor repairs or adjustments, as needed
Processes product logs to ensure consistency and quality
May be required to perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Prior HMI experience is a plus. Eagerness to learn HMI is required
Mechanically inclined is a plus to understand equipment operation
Ability to Lift 50 pounds
Flexibility to rotate to a different operation within the facility as needed
Ability to work overtime on the weekend as business conditions indicate
Willingness to cross train on numerous product lines
Ability to work well in teams
Ability to communicate with urgency to team leader / supervisor on any nonconforming issues as they arrive
