Reporting to the Settlements Manager, the Senior Electricity Settlements Analyst provides subject matter expertise across settlements, metering and industry operations. The role supports accurate settlement, proactive portfolio management and effective stakeholder engagement.
 
You will lead MHHS activity within the Settlements team, support regulatory change impact assessment and help establish robust processes for post-migration operations.
This role suits an experienced metering, settlements or industry operations professional who wants to broaden their expertise and contribute to a growing business.
 
Essential Functions of the Job:
 
  • Lead MHHS activity within the Settlements team, supporting the Project Team through migration and establishing robust post-migration processes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to the Policy and Regulations team so the impact of regulatory change is understood, assessed and managed.
  • Act as a senior point of expertise for electricity metering (including new connections and disconnections) and settlement processes.
  • Resolve complex settlement, metering and exception queries.
  • Improve and document processes that support accurate settlement and efficient management of the metering portfolio.
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external agents and industry parties.
  • Prioritise work with minimal supervision and contribute to a high-performing Billing & Settlements team.
 
Skills & Experience Required:
 
  • Strong experience in a metering, settlements or industry operations role within the energy industry.
  • Proven expertise in at least one of the following areas: electricity metering, industry data flows or electricity settlements.
  • Working knowledge of the UK electricity supply market and settlement arrangements.
  • High attention to detail, with a naturally inquisitive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Clear communicator able to build relationships and influence internal teams and external parties
  • Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership and improves processes.
  • Able to manage priorities and workload effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Enthusiastic about learning new subjects and developing new skills.
