Salary range (but not limited to):
74,800 - 91,400Incentive plan

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We’re looking for a Project Manager, Facilities, to join our growing team!
You will be responsible for managing and overseeing major fit-up projects for the reorganization of Brokerlink sites.
Job Description Summary
Accountable for timely and cost-effective management of office moves, closures within project parameters.
Provides project management services on-site and remote for Central/Atlantic offices - reconfigurations, relocations, upgrades - including financial management of established budgets (budget establishment and management) and compliance with business time lines. Maintains effective communication channels with other departments involved (e.g. I.T. and user groups) to co-ordinate activities. Liaises with management on technical and administrative issues related to projects. Resolves issues and/or escalates according to company policies. Maintains effective business relationships with service providers (e.g. furniture vendors, HVAC companies), contractors, technicians, health and safety representatives. Monitors quality of product and services provided and takes remedial action if required. Remains current with industry trends, technical development services and products. Identifies needs for improvement and recommends changes to processes to improve results as it relates to facility related activities. Maintains an awareness of ergonomic issues and recommends improvements and/or remedial action required to ensure occupants highest levels of performance as it relates to their working environment.
What you’ll do here:
- Office construction and renovations full cycle management, following BL national governance, budgeting, guidelines and policies
- On-site management for office closures, amalgamation, decommissioning, and moves
- Decommissioning, clean up, preparation of premise for hand back to landlord as per terms of lease and meet with landlord / property manager to do final walk-through and give back keys
- Undertaking Facilities JotForm requests and completing 8+ requests per week
- Provide assessment of acquisition sites signage, manage design, production and installation of Ontario wide exterior and interior signage
- Update of Real Estate Projects SmartSheet or similar and calendar
- Code, submit for approval on Oracle PO’s, invoices, follow up on payments where required
- Management, procurement, and follow-through on larger Maintenance & Repairs
- Guidance to branches with smaller repairs and maintenance (Duct cleaning, lock changes, etc.)
- Capex Budget submission, tracking, reporting
- Ergonomic assessment fulfillment and follow-up
- Commercial system furniture and task chair orders procurement as per national standard
- Communication of National Standards (Clean Desk Policy, Furniture, Construction, etc.) to Project Sites
- Review facilities related contracts, terminate where economically feasible, make recommendations and negotiate to standards
- In office and off-site storage and/or sq. footage reduction (scanning, shredding, realignments)
- Assist and serve backup for Lease Admin for Utility change overs with suppliers
- In-person walk through with property manager and/or landlords when handing back site
- Procuring and managing installation of alarm and security for facilities, including contracts and maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
- 5+ years’ experience in office moves, closures, amalgamations, commercial furniture
- Ability to travel 5-6 days each month to Ontario wide sites and possibly within Canada for on-site construction meetings. Additional days required to be on-site during May - October
- Exceptional and demonstrated planning, design implementation and customer service
- Attention to detail
- Ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks
