Job Summary

The Account Manager will report to the HOD of Sales and will be responsible for growing sales as a new business forming an extensive network, hunting key client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving revenue increment through new accounts building and strategic sales efforts. This role is essential in expanding and maintaining our client base in the secured logistics industry in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

· New Business Development:
Proactively reach out to prospective partners through phone calls, emails, in-person networking events, and social media platforms. Cultivate and expand the sales pipeline for new business opportunities.

· Account Management:
Manage newly acquired clients during their initial engagement cycle to ensure a positive experience. Collaborate with departments such as Cash-In-Transit, Operations, and Security to resolve issues and streamline onboarding.

· Sales Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans from prospecting to closing, aligned with the company’s sales process. Work closely with the HOD of Sales and Sales team to execute sales strategies and meet targets.

· Upselling & Cross-selling:
Proactively driving opportunities to upsell / cross sell.

· Client Needs Analysis & Solution Tailoring:
Understand clients' needs and tailor solutions to meet those needs. Collaborate with the operations and logistics team to ensure seamless service delivery.

· Account & Contract Management:
Prepare account forecasts and strategies, manage contract negotiations, renewals, and ensure compliance with contractual standards.

· Reporting & Market Insights:
Prepare and present regular account performance updates, insights, and strategic recommendations. Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors.

Requirements

1. Diploma or degree in Business, Sales, or related field.

2. A team player who is self-motivated and able to work independently.

3. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

4. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize key opportunities.

5. Effective stakeholder management across diverse client profiles.

6. Experience in client servicing or sales role.

7. Experience in secured logistic, freight forwarding, or relevant industry will be an added advantage.
