Early Years Assistant - Lunch Cover

Nursery – Goldhawk Road Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – £14.15 per hour (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location – Shepherds Bush, West London

This position is for lunch cover, Monday to Friday 11am - 3pm

We’re looking for a Early Years Assistant to join our Goldhawk Road Day Nursery and Preschool which has great public transport links, being only a short walk from the Goldhawk Road underground station (on the circle and Hammersmith and City lines), as well as some onsite parking.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
