Your Role
I am currently recruiting for a Solutions Architect for my client based in Leeds. This is a key role for the business where you will be working on a SAP implementation and a data migration. This role is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP Master Data Governance and data migration solutions, including design, transformation, development and implementation.
Responsibilities
Data Mapping & Migration:
Develop and implement data migration strategies for SAP projects, ensuring data integrity and quality in line with Global Master Data Governance rules.
Oversee the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, ensuring smooth data transfer from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA. Ensure data quality and perform data cleansing activities to maintain high standards and create and maintain data mapping documents to guide the migration process.
Local Application Management / Integration:
Manage and integrate local applications with SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability. Utilize SAP Integration Suite and other tools to connect applications, data, and users effectively. Develop and maintain integration architecture to support business processes and data synchronization.
Enhancements / Requirement Management:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements. Design and implement system enhancements to meet business needs. Ensure that enhancements are aligned with overall system architecture and business objectives.
Implementation & Rollout:
Document business processes and requirements, creating a blueprint for system configuration. Perform various tests (unit, integration, user acceptance) to ensure the system meets business requirements. Transition to the new system, monitor performance, and provide ongoing support. Adapt existing business processes to new locations, considering local requirements. Configure the system to fit new location needs and transfer relevant data.
Production Support / Lights On:
Provide ongoing production support to ensure system stability and performance. Implement ITIL best practices for incident and change management. Maintain documentation and provide training to end-users and support teams.
Your Profile
Key Skills and Experience needed:
In-depth knowledge of various SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, HR/HCM, PM, PS, and LE.
Strong understanding of SAP architecture, including three-tier architecture, SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAP Solution Manager (we have Jira, Confluence Cloud ALM and Signavio) as migration tools.
Proficiency in data governance, data integration, data quality management, master data management, and data migration.
Proven experience in planning and executing rollout projects, including system configuration, data migration, testing, and end-user training.
Extensive experience in implementing SAP solutions, including system configuration, integration, and testing.
Proficiency in SAP Data Services and other ETL tools like Syniti.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration and implementation projects.
Experience with SAP Integration Suite and other integration tools.
Ability to manage long-term customer engagements and deliver successful outcomes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in providing production support and maintaining system uptime.

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
