About the Role

Brenntag Korea is looking for an experienced Integration Manager to play a key role in the successful post-acquisition integration of a business in Korea.

In this role, you will act as a central link between the acquired business and Brenntag, coordinating integration activities across Finance, Operations, HR, IT, Supply Chain and other functions. You will ensure that integration plans are executed effectively, milestones are tracked, and stakeholders remain aligned throughout the process.

The role also has a strong Finance and Business Reporting component, working closely with Finance and Business Controlling teams to support financial reporting, budgeting, governance and business performance.

This is an individual contributor role with significant cross-functional and international exposure.

Office Location: Woojin Trading Co Ltd , South Korea.

Work Arrangement: On-site – 5 days per week from the office
Travel: Limited travel within South Korea between the Gwacheon-si, South Korea, Brenntag Korea office and the Woojin office.

What You Will Do

Post-Acquisition Integration

  • Lead and coordinate integration activities between the acquired business and Brenntag functions.

  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, HR, IT, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to execute integration plans.

  • Track milestones, actions, dependencies and deliverables to ensure timely progress.

  • Identify risks and potential roadblocks and proactively follow up with stakeholders to drive resolution.

  • Prepare regular integration updates for management, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies and key decisions.

  • Support effective communication, alignment and transparency between the acquired business and Brenntag teams.

Financial Reporting & Governance

  • Work closely with the Finance teams of the acquired business and Brenntag to support accurate and timely financial reporting and budgeting.

  • Support the transition and alignment of financial reporting processes with Brenntag Group requirements.

  • Work with Business Controlling to prepare business analyses, management reports and insights.

  • Support the implementation of appropriate reporting processes, controls and governance standards.

  • Coordinate financial and business requirements across multiple stakeholders.

M&A Earn-Out Monitoring

  • Work with Business Controlling and M&A teams to monitor financial performance relevant to earn-out calculations.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders from the acquired business and Brenntag on earn-out-related reporting and information.

  • Support accurate and timely tracking and communication of earn-out performance.

Business Performance & Planning

  • Support management in tracking business performance and implementing Brenntag Korea's longer-term business plan.

  • Contribute to business development and performance improvement initiatives as the integration progresses.

  • Provide analysis and insights to support business decision-making.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience gained in Big 4 accounting firm and/or in-house commercial.

  • Strong experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Controlling, Project Management or Business Integration.

  • Experience in post-acquisition or post-merger integration is highly preferred.

  • Strong Finance/Controlling professionals with excellent project management and stakeholder management skills will also be considered.

  • Experience in the distribution industry is an advantage.

  • Experience working in cross-functional, international and matrix environments is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of Korean accounting and IFRS standards.

  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, business performance tracking and business planning.

  • SAP experience is preferred.

  • OneStream experience is an advantage.

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • Understanding of M&A transactions, post-merger integration and earn-out structures is highly desirable.

  • Fluent Korean with strong speaking, reading and writing skills.

  • Good command of English, including speaking, reading and writing.

  • Strong project management and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to look beyond transactional Finance activities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Proactive, structured and hands-on approach with strong follow-through.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
