The Manager, Project Management provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the successful delivery of Industrial, Data Center (DPC) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) projects across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, this role leads and develops a team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators, ensuring consistent execution excellence, disciplined governance, and strong customer satisfaction across a portfolio of complex, technically demanding, and high value projects.

The Manager builds and maintains strong relationships with key industrial customers and senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and escalation point for complex technical, commercial, or delivery challenges. They collaborate closely with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and sales teams to ensure project plans, issue resolution efforts, and strategic decisions support both customer needs and organizational objectives.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Manager oversees projects with significant financial magnitude, strategic importance, and operational impact. They drive continuous improvement in project management processes, strengthen cross‑functional collaboration, and elevate the capability and performance of the entire project management team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the on-time delivery of ALL projects, while maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators, ensuring consistent performance, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Establish clear expectations, performance goals, and development plans for all direct reports.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support on complex project issues, customer communications, schedule recovery, and risk management.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational discipline across the project management function.
  • Oversee a portfolio of complex, high‑value industrial projects, ensuring successful delivery across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor project performance, financial outcomes, risk exposure, and resource utilization across the portfolio; intervene as needed to maintain performance targets.
  • Ensure consistent application of project governance, project management methodology, and documentation standards across all projects.
  • Approve project plans, recovery plans, change orders, and key customer communications for high‑impact projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, serving as an escalation point for critical technical, commercial, or schedule issues.
  • Lead senior‑level customer engagement, including major milestones, recovery discussions, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee and guide the resolution of complex technical, manufacturing, or supply chain issues that put major projects at risk.
  • Ensure root cause, corrective action, and preventive action processes are followed for recurring manufacturing or design issues.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO governance standards, project controls, documentation requirements, and audit readiness for all projects.
  • Support quotation teams in the development of bids, proposals, and contract reviews by providing execution insights, risk assessments, and delivery strategies.
  • Support the Director of Project Management in shaping the long‑term strategy for the project management organization.
  • Act as a change leader, helping drive adoption of new systems, procedures, or organizational initiatives affecting project execution.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered. Candidates with 10+ years of experience in a technical sales, manufacturing, or industrial environment are encouraged to apply.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent.
  • 3+ years Management experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution within a manufacturing and/or engineered products environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, high-value, customer-facing projects
  • Experience in the valve, actuator, and controls manufacturing industry is considered a strong asset.
  • Understanding of the EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) market, including customer expectations, commercial considerations, and project execution models.
  • Able to interpret technical information and lead teams through root-cause analysis and corrective action planning.

Understands components, processes, and constraints relevant to valves, actuators, controls, and EPC project environments.

Planning/Priority Setting – Effectively scopes work, creates detailed schedules, allocates resources, and sequences tasks to drive predictable outcomes. Anticipates obstacles in advance and plans accordingly to keep projects on track.
