Residential AV Field Supervisor

Dallas-Fort Worth · On-site

About this role

BRAVAS is the nation’s #1 luxury home technology integrator, partnering with homeowners, architects, and builders on some of the most spectacular homes in the country. We design and install advanced smart home systems, including A/V, lighting, shades, networking, security, and more.

We’re looking for a Field Supervisor to keep our DFW projects running on time, on budget, and to the high standard our clients expect.

The Role

You’ll own on-site coordination across multiple concurrent luxury residential projects; aligning technicians, project managers, programmers, and schedulers to deliver flawless installations. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in the field, communicates well at every level, and takes pride in both the work and the people doing it.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee on-site execution across multiple projects
    • Managing quality, timelines, and budget accountability
  • Coordinate daily with schedulers, technicians, programmers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project flow
  • Match technician skill sets to project needs; adapt scheduling in response to scope changes
  • Mentor and train field technicians on installation standards, troubleshooting, and company culture
  • Conduct quality checks and enforce BRAVAS standards on every job site
  • Partner with Project Managers and Operations on escalated client issues and labor forecasting
  • Coordinate client training and manage smooth handoffs to the service department
  • Participate in technician performance reviews and establish productive feedback loops across teams

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience supervising field technicians in residential AV, smart home, or low-voltage integration
  • Strong knowledge of AV, lighting, security, and low-voltage systems; commitment to ongoing product education
  • Ability to read residential construction plans and job site documentation
  • Excellent communication skills — written and verbal — across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Sharp troubleshooting instincts and strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with job management software and basic computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check
  • Flexibility to meet client needs outside standard business hours when required

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in tight spaces and at ladder heights, stand or stoop for extended periods, and travel locally to job sites regularly.
