Job Description
Responsible for the efficient operation of the Security Department during assigned shift
- Supervise and instruct team member on shift in the proper performance of job duties to provide for the safety and security of guests, employees, and property.
- Train and brief staff regarding the days' events and any problems to monitor.
- Maintain shift schedule and delegate work assignments.
- Review and approve all reports written during the shift.
- Review and approve all arrests; respond to emergencies and any serious incidents.
- Ensure officers maintain a high degree of professionalism by adhering to all laws and regulations, and departmental and company rules, procedures, and policies.
- Assist security officers with assigned duties when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- *Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must meet requirements of a Security Officer.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of a normal shift.
- Other physical requirements include but are not limited to: lifting up to 100 lbs., reaching, kneeling, bending, and episodes of moderate to strenuous physical exertion.
- Minimum of six (6) months of casino security (or similar field) experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses
