Job Description

Ready to lead a team and keep our spaces sparkling? As a Custodial Supervisor, you'll be the maestro of cleanliness—delegating tasks, training your crew, and ensuring every hallway, lobby, and stairway shines to perfection. You'll combine hands-on cleaning expertise with team leadership to maintain our facilities at the highest standards.

  • Orchestrate and distribute work assignments to your team, making real-time adjustments to keep things running smoothly throughout each shift.
  • Inspect and give the green light on all cleaning work across designated areas—quality control at its finest.
  • Champion your team by handling hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance monitoring to help everyone succeed.
  • Keep all cleaning equipment and supplies in top-notch condition and ensure everything meets safety standards.
  • Submit work orders for maintenance repairs and follow up to make sure they're completed promptly.
  • Lead by example by maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas and managing trash and debris removal.
  • Handle specialized cleaning tasks, including bio-chemical material cleanup, with expertise and care.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support our team's success.

Qualifications

• Must be least 21 years of age. 
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six (6) months of experience in a similar position preferred. 
• Must be able to operate, and demonstrate proper usage of, all equipment including but not limited to vacuum cleaners, carpet shampooers, and floor scrubbers. 
• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift. 
• Other physical requirements include but are not limited to:  bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, kneeling, and crouching. 
• Must be knowledgeable about cleaning chemicals used by the dpartment.
• May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including but not limited to excessive noise and second-hand smoke.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. 
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
