Job Description
Shape the future of engineering design with us! Join our team as a working student and help revolutionize our workflows by automating circuit diagram creation within Microsoft Visio.
- During your assignment, you will analyze the existing Visio stencil and symbol library structure, enhancing them where necessary.
- You will develop innovative concepts and scripts to enable the automated generation of circuit diagrams.
- Additionally, you will build and maintain custom macros, templates, and automation tools tailored to the Microsoft Visio environment.
- Moreover, you will design rule-based methodologies for positioning symbols, linking components, and establishing diagram structures.
- Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with our engineering team to understand technical requirements and standardization needs. You will validate automatically generated diagrams against engineering guidelines and quality standards.
- You will support the overall optimization of engineering workflows through smart automation and document the developed solutions, processes, and user instructions for future reference.
- Finally, you will participate in testing, troubleshooting, and continuously improving the automation software.
Qualifications
- Education: studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Automation Engineering or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: basics of electronics; confident use of MS Office; experience in Python or other scripting languages; prior experience in Microsoft Visio is a plus
- Personality and Working Practice: you excel at independently structuring and analyzing complex tasks, staying highly self-organized, while communicating clearly to drive projects toward goal-oriented results
- Work Routine: your on-site presence is required
- Languages: very good in English and German
Additional Information
Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months – 10 h/week
