Senior Product Designer

About this role

Why this role exists

Our Insights business unit is one of our biggest bets: turning recognition data into strategic intelligence that helps leaders understand team health, engagement, and culture in real time. We're building AI-powered products (generative UIs, conversational analysis, culture visualizations) that surface patterns no survey could capture. The design conventions don't exist yet. We have to invent them.

The gap we're filling is creative energy. We're looking for someone who stretches us visually with fresh, imaginative ideas and a consumer sensibility that makes B2B software feel alive. You'll work alongside a product leader, an engineering leader, and another designer who leads the Insights BU, while collaborating with designers and engineers across the company.

What you'll do

  • Design AI-powered culture intelligence products from scratch: collaboration maps, engagement spotlights, organizational health dashboards. The UI has to earn trust
  • Shape product strategy with your product and engineering partners. You won't wait for specs. You'll help figure out what to build and why
  • Lead end-to-end design: research, flows, prototypes, high-fidelity visuals, and close collaboration with engineers through implementation
  • Bring a visual point of view. Push the craft through motion, illustration, layout, and thoughtful detail
  • Ship fast in ambiguity. Sometimes you lead with a concept, sometimes you refine an engineer's first pass. Designers here are partners from the first commit
  • Experiment with how Bizy shows up across the experience, from conversational interfaces to proactive insights that feel helpful, not intrusive

Design and AI at Bonusly

AI is changing what it means to be a designer. What the tools can't do is decide what's worth building, what feels right, and what will make someone pause. That's taste, and it's what we value most. We use AI tools daily and want someone with the judgment to know where they help and where they don't.

You're a great fit if you…

  • Have 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio that shows range across UX thinking, visual craft, and interaction design
  • Have a creative streak beyond clean UI: illustration, motion, brand work, or side projects that show visual imagination
  • Can take complex, data-rich problems and make them feel simple and intuitive. Not by hiding complexity, but by designing through it
  • Have experience designing 0-to-1 products, especially in AI-powered environments where you had to invent the interface
  • Bring a consumer sensibility to B2B. You know what makes software feel good to use, not just functional
  • Have strong communication skills. You can make the case for a direction and bring people along
  • Are curious about AI as both a product space and a set of tools reshaping how you work

Bonus points for

  • Experience with data visualization, analytics products, or culture/HR tech
  • Comfort prototyping in code (HTML/CSS/JS, React) or a genuine desire to learn. Our stack makes it easy
  • Experience designing conversational or AI-native interfaces

A few things to know

Will I have a design manager who knows design?

Yes. You'll report to the VP of Product & Design, who has a design background and leads our product design and marketing team. Design leadership here isn't an afterthought. It's how decisions get made.

Is this fully remote?

Yes. But we sell culture for a living, so we're our own best example: weekly creative warm ups, a design guild that brings product and marketing designers together, regular play sessions, and intentional team travel.
