About this role

In this position you will....

Ensure the Finance Function (Controlling, Accounting, Tax and Corporate Secretarial) performs smoothly and supports business needs; ensure corporate governance and internal controls are effectively implemented and adhered to, especially from a local perspective; ensure Group and local reporting requirements are met (audit, tax and corporate secretarial); and ensure internal controls of the company meet local regulation. You will also support any ad-hoc assignments

 

You will be responsible for…

  • Maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Preparing financial analyses and local/group reports.
  • Preparing profit and lost projections and forecasting.
  • Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Assisting with annual audit preparations.
  • Preparing VAT & local tax returns.
  • Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
  • Creating/ Maintaining a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policy and regulations, and roll out reconciliation procedures
  • Performing other accounting duties and supporting supervisor as required or assigned.

You will require the following qualifications and skills                                                                                                               

  • A professional qualification (i.e. ACCA, CA, etc.) or Degree in Accountancy/Finance.
  • At least 2+ years in Big 4 accounting form.
  • Preferably with total 5 year(s) and above of Finance experience.
  • Intermediate command of reading and written English.
  • Strong and advanced skill on Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
