Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer
About this role
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our DATA SOLUTIONS AND SVCS PLATFORM team. This role is located in Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Design, develop, enhance, and support ETL and data integration solutions across enterprise platforms.
- Build scalable and efficient data pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data from multiple source systems.
- Develop and optimize database solutions leveraging Oracle and/or Snowflake.
- Write, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries and Python-based data processing solutions.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, data architects, application teams, and technology partners to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and timeliness across data workflows and platforms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes, database performance issues, and production incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
- Support data transformation, orchestration, and automation capabilities aligned with modern engineering practices.
- Contribute to the establishment and adoption of engineering standards, coding best practices, documentation, and support procedures.
Participate in design reviews, release activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen platform resiliency and performance.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, ETL development, data integration, or database development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle and/or Snowflake.
- Strong Python programming skills with the ability to develop scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Advanced SQL skills, including query development, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of ETL principles, data integration patterns, and relational database concepts.
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-scale data solutions in complex environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
