This is a hybrid roleAt Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.

Bluevine is looking for candidates with solid analytical thinking and great coding skills to join our team. As a Data Engineer II you will work closely with the Data Science, Data Engineering and Analytics teams to help support their processes through developing features for analytical decisions and ML models, building data processing pipelines, developing monitoring tools, and more.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics teams to build and maintain high-impact data pipelines and data products.
  • Design and develop comprehensive data monitoring solutions, including automated reporting, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Implement scalable, data-centric solutions using AWS cloud technologies to support real-time business requirements.
  • Manage and orchestrate complex data workflows to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of production-grade data infrastructure.

What We Look For:

  • Experience: Hands-on experience using AI in production-grade code development—building agentic workflows, leveraging MCP, and integrating custom tools/skills to automate complex tasks.
  • Programming: 3+ years of experience in Python; proficiency in Pandas is required (experience duration for Pandas can be less than 3 years).
  • Education: BE/BTech in Computer Science or a related field
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to rapidly learn new technologies, frameworks, and algorithms.
  • Team player: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on seamless collaboration within cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive Mindset: Result-oriented, and capable of working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
