Veterinary Technician Supervisor

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Levittown, PA is seeking a motivated and passionate Veterinary Technician Supervisor to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals.

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, day or mid shift. Some flexibility is required for this role.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 / hour + competitive shift differentials

This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool. Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. For example:

• Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential

• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential

• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential

As a Veterinary Technician Supervisor, you will…

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.

• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.

• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.

• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.

• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.

• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.

• Other related duties as assigned.
