Senior Product Engineer
About this role
What we're looking for:
We need someone with 5+ years of experience who has owned products end-to-end, from ideation through launch, in a startup or high-growth environment. You should be comfortable building 0-to-1 products in ambiguous spaces and have a track record of shipping developer tools or engineer-facing products that set a high bar for user experience. Bonus points if you've worked in developer tooling, AI-powered products, or have experience building coding agents or CI/CD platforms.
What you'll do:
Own entire product surfaces end-to-end — from early ideation and systems design through to shipping and iterating with customers
Build and evolve next-generation developer tools (including Codesmith, our background coding agent) — designing workflows, UI, and infrastructure that let engineers delegate coding tasks to AI
Work closely with founders to formulate product ideas, validate them, and bring them to market in days, not months
Make critical architectural and systems design decisions across the full stack that will define products for their lifetime
Prototype and iterate rapidly on AI-powered features — from natural language interfaces to automated fix generation — owning everything from prompt design to backend service to UI
Ship polished, high-performance product surfaces across analytics, observability, and agent platforms where engineers interact daily
