Description

  • Manage and execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure alignment with production demand.
  • Monitor and maintain material pipeline to meet MRP requirements; proactively identify and resolve supply issues.
  • Ensure material availability to support the Master Production Schedule (MPS) through on-time delivery and coordination from receiving to production.
  • Execute and leverage negotiated supplier terms to minimize material liability and optimize cost efficiency.
  • Generate and manage Purchase Orders in accordance with agreed pricing, terms, and conditions.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with contractual agreements and performance expectations.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for CNC machined parts, sheet metal components, PCB assemblies, and electronic components.
  • Optimize order management processes to enhance supplier communication and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate master data and planning parameters to balance procurement costs with inventory levels.
  • Monitor and improve supplier performance in delivery and quality; lead corrective actions for recurring or critical issues.
  • Contribute to commodity and pricing strategies; collaborate closely with Buyers,
  • Managers, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Provide insights on supplier performance and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Resolve any price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues with suppliers.
  • Leverage data analytics to optimize excess inventory disposition, scale strategic stocking programs, and maximize supplier spend value.
  • Support additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of progressive procurement/purchasing experience with demonstrated vendor negotiation skills
  • APICS or ISM certification (e.g., CPIM, CPSM) preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience with an SAP system is desirable.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
