Cross-Border Long-Haul Owner-Operator
About this role
$3000 Sign on Bonus. Earn up to $17.6K/month. Get paid on time. This position requires you to be on the road 7-10 days at a time, averaging 10K-12K miles/month.
- Running open-board, Canada/U.S. long-haul
- Freight and Destinations will vary based on operational requirements
- Required to drive in B.C. including Highway 1 and Highway 3, 12 months a year
- Must be available for dispatch 24 days a month.
- Flexible schedules requiring weekend departures
- Regional freight will be required
- Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
Candidate Profile:
- Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
- Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system
- Must be U.S. qualified
- Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
- Must have a minimum of 6 months B.C. mountain driving experience
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must have a valid Class 1/AZ License
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
