What you'll be doing
- Manage the end-to-end invoicing process, ensuring accurate and timely billing across customer accounts.
- Process customer payments, apply cash receipts, and manage electronic check deposits.
- Monitor A/R aging, follow up on outstanding balances, and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
- Partner with internal teams to support billing operations and respond to A/R-related requests.
- Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and accounts receivable reporting.
- Complete customer and supplier questionnaires related to billing and payments.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate manual work, and optimize systems.
Our ideal fit:
- 2+ years in an Accounts Receivable role
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies to improve productivity and streamline workflows
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work from our Toronto office at least one day per week
Nice to haves:
- SaaS industry experience
- Exposure to Stripe
- Exposure to month-end close and accounting processes
