Care Network Manager

About This Role:
As a Care Network Manager (Rare Disease), you will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to identify patients with rare diseases, facilitate referrals to specialized Centers of Excellence, and establish, strengthen, and optimize care networks across all therapeutic areas in scope throughout German-speaking Switzerland.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support HCPs in identifying patients with rare diseases (e.g. Friedreich`s Ataxia) or other prioritized conditions and manage high-profile accounts independently.

  • Drives awareness and improvements in defined prioritized target accounts (e.g. neurologist & GP offices) for rare diseases, enhancing patient diagnosis and linkage to care.

  • Engage with HCPs to boost brand perception and share market knowledge to support company goals and future product launches.

  • Develop and execute omnichannel customer engagement plans tailored to territory characteristics and customer preferences.

  • Guide segmentation and targeting activities, enhancing customer relationships through strategic planning and insights.

  • Design initiatives for disease education, optimizes patient pathways, and analyzes patient access threats to propose solutions.

  • Assess and improve patient journey quality, providing recommendations to the cross-functional brand team.

  • Collaborate closely with team members and medical colleagues to enhance referral networks and address HCP requests.

  • Gather and share market intelligence, effectively communicating across all organizational levels.

Who You Are:
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills, capable of independently managing high-profile accounts and driving improvements in patient care networks. You possess a deep market knowledge, excel in omnichannel customer engagement, and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels to enhance disease awareness and constantly optimize patient pathways.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in natural science, medicine or business.

  • 5+ years of working experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry in a field role, thereof at least 3 years in rare disease / specialty.

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding commercial goals, whilst effectively working together with a cross-functional brand team.

  • Demonstrated high learning agility, required to gain deep understanding of rare disease patient journey, care networks and the ability to prioritize work according to the product lifecycle.

  • High willingness to travel including overnight-stays.

  • Must meet requirements to engage with Health Care Professionals according to applicable country law.

  • Fluency in German and the relevant language in the given territory.

  • Very good English skills required.
