Job Summary

The Head of Collections will lead and manage the end-to-end collections strategy for the company’s real estate portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring timely collection of receivables from buyers, investors, and tenants, minimizing delinquencies, and optimizing cash flow. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in real estate collections, client relationship management, and regulatory compliance within the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collections Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement a robust collections strategy aligned with business goals
  
• Lead, mentor, and manage the collections team to achieve targets
  
• Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement
  

2. Receivables Management

• Oversee collection of installments for off-plan and ready properties
  
• Monitor aging reports and ensure timely follow-ups on overdue accounts
  
• Reduce delinquency rates and improve overall recovery performance
  

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with high-value clients and investors
  
• Handle escalated cases, disputes, and payment restructuring negotiations
  
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to resolve complex cases
  

4. Legal & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with UAE real estate laws and regulatory requirements
  
• Coordinate with legal teams on default cases, cancellations, and enforcement actions
  
• Manage handover-related payment compliance
  

5. Reporting & Forecasting

• Provide regular reports on collections performance, risks, and cash flow projections
  
• Analyze trends and recommend corrective actions
  
• Support financial planning through accurate forecasting
  

6. Process Improvement & Systems

• Implement and optimize collections systems, automation tools, and CRM platforms
  
• Improve policies, procedures, and customer communication strategies
  
• Drive digital transformation in collections processes
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  
• 8+ years of experience in collections, with a strong focus on real estate
  
• Proven track record in managing large portfolios and leading teams
  
• Strong knowledge of UAE real estate regulations and payment structures

• High level of professionalism and customer handling skills
