## About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Trainer / Onboarding Specialist with a strong background in English as a Second Language (ESL) to join our team. This role is responsible for helping new team members successfully transition into their positions through engaging, structured, and effective training and onboarding programs.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who understands adult learning principles, can confidently facilitate virtual training sessions, and has experience teaching or training individuals whose first language may not be English.

## Key Responsibilities

Conduct engaging virtual onboarding and training sessions for new hires.
Deliver training materials, presentations, activities, and assessments in a clear and organized manner.
Apply ESL teaching strategies to support employees with varying levels of English proficiency.
Help new team members understand company policies, procedures, systems, and job expectations.
Monitor trainee progress and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
Identify knowledge gaps and provide additional support or refresher training when needed.
Maintain accurate training and onboarding records.
Collaborate with management and team leads to continuously improve training programs.
Create a welcoming, professional, and supportive learning environment for new employees.
Adapt training methods to accommodate different learning styles and backgrounds.

## Qualifications

Required:

Professional background or experience in ESL (English as a Second Language) teaching, training, tutoring, or education.
Previous experience in training, onboarding, coaching, or instructional roles.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Strong presentation and virtual facilitation skills.
Comfortable conducting training through video conferencing and other online platforms.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Reliable internet connection and a professional home-office setup.
Ability to work 9:00 AM–6:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday.
